Contactor-based ATS

ATSs are used for private houses, public buildings, industrial enterprises, banks, transport and communication enterprises, etc.

ATSs can be of 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-pole type. Such ATSs are used for private houses, public buildings, industrial enterprises, banks, transport and communication enterprises, etc.

The contactor-based ATS power is limited by the currents of 1000 A - 1200 A. Interruption of any phase, phase interlacing abnormality, inadequacy of the voltage level to preset value leads to switching-off the incorrect power supply source.

The ATS's advantage is its low cost. However, this device has such disadvantage as its permanent alive state and impossibility of switching-off in the manual mode in the event of the contactor's coil failure.
