UPS of SG series operate in the VFI mode (Voltage Frequency Independent, i.e. output voltage and frequency do not depend on the input) and developed with consideration for requirements towards lowering input current distortions what has become possible due to application of a modern control algorithm and IGBT-rectifier instead of standard filters.

SG Series is elaborated on the basis of Six Sigma Methodology ensuring absolute meeting of the products to the requirements and expectations of the consumer.

SG Series provides the highest reliability and productivity class. Protection against reverse current and compliance with the EMC and safety standards enables UPSes of SG Series to meet all existing standards. The reliability is increased at parallel switching on the basis of the unique technology RPA™ (Redundant Parallel Architecture™) elaborated by GE Company.

During the whole service life, all UPSes of GE Company are supported by service centers rendering superfine 24-hour-a-day repair and adjustment of the equipment, training of the specialists and expert consulting.  

 

     PurePulse&trade Technology     

IGBT is a rectifier operating on the principle of clear inprit.

UPSes of SG series with the power of 160-300 kVA are produced both by conventional technology with  thyristor-controlled rectifiers and the rectifiers developed on the basis of the advanced technology by GE — PurePulse™.

PurePulse Technology is a state-of-the-art algorithm of IGBT-rectifier operation control enabling to reduce    nonlinear harmonic distortion coefficient at the input lower than 2%; the mains current has a sine shape. Advantages of PurePulse technology are in economy during choosing the power of feeding equipment (generating plants, wire lines and protective gears) as well as in the absence of additional expenses for installation of additional active or passive filters.

PurePulse™ is a new break-through solution from GE.
