Typically, the power supply to a country house is interrupted for 2-3 hours. In this case, the devices in the Basic Equipment Kit—with the help of batteries and the multifunctional inverter/charger MULTIPLUS—are sufficient for creating backup power.
When the external grid power is lost, the energy stored in the batteries is used to supply consumers through the MULTIPLUS inverter. When the grid is restored, the MULTIPLUS will recharge the batteries. If the power outage lasts longer, the equipment produced by Victron Energy allows for the additional use of alternative power sources (solar panels, diesel generators), thereby enabling the formation of a completely autonomous network.
