Orion XS DC-DC Battery Charger
The Orion XS uses power from the engine alternator to charge a service battery quickly and safely. This compact DC-DC charger is designed for dual-battery systems, supports 12 V and mixed 12/24 V installations, and can also operate as a regulated DC power supply for sensitive electronic equipment.
Description
The Orion XS is a compact, high-power DC-DC battery charger designed for automotive, recreational, professional and marine applications. It is compatible with conventional and Euro 5/6 smart alternators, automatically detects when the engine is running and protects the starter battery against excessive discharge.
Charging voltage and current can be precisely configured through the VictronConnect app. The charger supports lithium, AGM, gel and flooded lead-acid batteries, using an adaptive four-stage charging algorithm and eight preconfigured battery profiles. Integrated Bluetooth, VE.Smart Networking and the VE.Direct port provide local configuration and optional remote monitoring.
