Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC is a professional isolated adaptive DC-DC battery charger with built-in Bluetooth. It is designed for dual-battery systems in vehicles, specialist transport, recreational vehicles and marine applications where the starter battery and alternator are used to charge the service battery.
Description
Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC uses an adaptive three-stage Bulk – Absorption – Float charging algorithm to provide efficient and controlled battery charging. It is suitable for both lead-acid and lithium batteries.
The isolated design provides electrical separation between the input and output, allowing them to use separate chassis grounds. This is particularly useful in automotive, marine and specialised power systems.
Built-in Bluetooth enables monitoring and configuration through the VictronConnect app. The charger also supports remote on/off control and automatic engine-running detection.
Orion-Tr Smart can operate as either a battery charger or a stabilised power supply. Multiple units can be connected in parallel when additional output power is required.
