Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC is a professional non-isolated adaptive DC-DC charger with built-in Bluetooth. It is designed to charge a service battery from an alternator and starter battery in vehicles, special transport, campers, and marine applications.
Description
The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC provides controlled charging of batteries in dual-battery systems. The device uses an adaptive three-stage charging algorithm and is suitable for both lead-acid and lithium batteries.
Built-in Bluetooth allows configuration and monitoring via the VictronConnect app. Remote on/off control is also supported.
The Orion-Tr Smart can operate either as a battery charger or as a stabilized power supply. The built-in engine detection feature ensures charging is enabled only when the engine is running, preventing excessive discharge of the starter battery.
Multiple units can be connected in parallel to increase available output power.
