Victron Energy GEL and AGM Batteries
Victron Energy GEL and AGM Batteries are sealed, maintenance-free VRLA lead-acid batteries for off-grid, backup, marine, automotive and industrial energy systems. AGM batteries are optimised for high discharge currents, while GEL batteries provide enhanced deep-cycle durability and longer service life.
Description
Victron AGM batteries use Absorbent Glass Mat technology, where the electrolyte is retained in a glass-fibre separator. Their very low internal resistance makes them particularly suitable for high-current applications including inverters, motors and winches.
GEL batteries are designed for applications involving frequent cycling and deeper discharge, providing improved cycle durability and a longer overall service life.
High-purity materials and lead-calcium grids provide a low self-discharge rate. The batteries feature flat copper M8 terminals and flame-retardant ABS enclosures.
